Anika Johnstone

Board Member

Anika Johnstone has a multidisciplinary background in strategy, research and insights. service transformation, marketing communications, digital and experience design. She has led teams to deliver innovative and high-profile projects across government, education and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and the UK. She was awarded a Woman in Innovation award in 2018 and has twice been named in The Advertiser’s SA Women ‘Ceiling Smashers’ lists (2019 and 2022). She is passionate about community led innovation and driving positive change through co-design and person-centred practice. As the parent of a young child, she feels privileged to be able to contribute to the Kidsafe mission of preventing childhood injury and to support the important work being done by the Kidsafe SA team.

Anika holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Politics and a Master of Arts in Journalism as well as a Diploma of Project Management. She is currently Chief Marketing Office at estara.
