Zara Male joined the Kidsafe SA team in March 2024 as a Child Injury Prevention Project Officer within the PLAY Team. A passionate and driven early-career professional, Zara holds a Bachelor of Human Movement from the University of South Australia, where she developed a strong interest in health promotion. This passion led her to pursue and recently graduate with a Master of Public Health from Flinders University.

With a diverse background, Zara’s previous experience in developing and coordinating a holistic lifestyle program to help individuals manage chronic pain and reduce opioid use further fuelled her commitment to preventative health initiatives. She is dedicated to making a positive impact on public health through innovative and evidence-based solutions.

Zara is excited to contribute to the continued success of Kidsafe SA and collaborate with like-minded professionals to create safer environments for children and families.
