After a long-awaited and exciting lead-up, we’re proud to officially announce that Kidsafe SA has been appointed to conduct annual playground inspections at all Department for Education sites across South Australia, commencing 1 July!

This work forms part of the Department’s Preventative Maintenance Program – an initiative focused on creating safe, engaging, and well-maintained play environments for children. Our dedicated PLAY team has been hard at work behind the scenes, planning, coordinating, and preparing for this important statewide rollout. With over 500 education sites across SA, this is no small task – and one we’re honoured to take on.

To support this expanded role, we’re growing our team! We are welcoming several new PLAY team members and are excited to introduce our new PLAY Team Operations Manager, Deanna Hughes, who officially joins us on 1 July (read more about Deanna HERE)
